I've realized I am most fulfilled when I am busy and simply performing routine tasks, surrounded by bustle (some may call it controlled - or non controlled - chaos), people and purpose. In the fall of 2023, after 30 plus years of meeting/event planning, business operations, managing teams and entrepreneurship, I retired with the thought that it was time to relax and read. Not so fast. It didn't take long to realize that I'm not quite ready to give up the adrenaline, self satisfaction and camaraderie of being part of a high functioning team. As a seasoned leader I strive to honor everyone's uniqueness and preferences. Understanding my team's intent and perspective has given me insights into the type of support, training, experiences and nurturing they need to thrive. And so now, I am excited to be involved in capturing all the things that make me passionate by combining those loves into working as a Travel Director.
