I bring over 23 years of guest service and operations experience from both the destination management and lodging sectors of the hospitality industry. I take pride in my ability to successfully bring a consistent high level of personalized service to any environment. I have a diverse background working in transportation logistics and meeting and event management, from small meetings to large scale national conventions. Most recently I was the General Manager at The Study at The University of Chicago. At this first ever property on the campus of the university, I oversaw the daily operations of the hotel to ensure the team was providing our guests a genuine personalized service environment that could be felt throughout the property. My background in hotel operations lends itself to being able to work together and collaborate with hotels and vendors to ensure a seamless execution of meetings and events. I have been honored with multiple local and national leadership awards and accolades in part to my hands on approach and ensuring a high level of consistency and personalized service that is demanded on a daily basis from clients. I obtained a masters in Hospitality and Tourism Management degree from Roosevelt University. I have an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
